Meet The Horses
Bambi is a sweet, patient and gentle quarterhorse with such a beautiful soul. She is an old girl who loves children and will walk at whatever pace is needed to build their confidence. Bambi will allow even the smallest of kids to lead, brush and ride her.
Lyrea is an old horse too with a sensitive soul. She is also blind in one eye. Her best friend is Bambi, who she uses as her guide horse sometimes. Lyrea enjoys being with someone who is very calm and gentle, and doesn't rush at doing things. She enjoys a nice gentle brush. Lyrea is not a ridden horse any more.
Sammy is a brumby and was born (approximately 2018) wild in a national park in Queensland. She's very cheeky ... sometimes smiles for attention. She wants to be everyone's friend and LOVES to be brushed and get LOTS of attention.
Pepper is the newest pony to join the herd. She is a dear little lady who has a very quiet nature. She loves being brushed as well. She is a small pony so a great size for kids or adults who are wary of bigger horses.
2 new team members are just a bit different to what you'd expect for Equine-Assisted Activities. They are still 4 legged ... meet Fudge and Snickers, a couple of cute little miniature goat kids. (Currently only 2 weeks old) If you think you're not ready for the horses why not spend some time feeding, brushing cuddling or just watching these 2 play.
